Problem Definition

It is often difficult to understand how much we truly spend until it is laid out in front of us. While I wasn’t necessarily a reckless spender in university, I definitely did not have an understanding of how I was distributing my money. It was important for me to understand my spending habits to help create a realistic budget after graduation.

Product Goal

I wanted to create an online tool that allowed people to track their spending and visualize them in different charts and graphs.

Conclusion

I created a full-stack web app that allows users to log in and input and track expense data. They can visualize these expenses in a table, monthly bar graph, or a categorized pie chart.
